Tech-Corridor.com is a regional branding initiative between the Iowa City Area Development Group and Priority One in Cedar Rapids. This website skillfully demonstrates the many industries represented throughout the corridor, and shows that “tech” means technology across many domains. One of the challenges for this website was to brand the Corridor in a manner that worked with both the ICAD Group and Priority One color schemes and marketing materials.
We also created a custom Google Map interface to show a variety of available buildings, site locations, and industry clusters that will help site selectors see the opportunities available to their clients in the Corridor.
The back end of this website uses Leepfrog Technologies’ PageLeaf software, which is a fantastic enterprise-level customizable CMS.

This website won a 2008 Silver ADDY Award from the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Advertising Federation. It also received an Honorable Mention Award in 2009 from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) in the category of General Purpose Website by organizations serving areas with populations between 50,000 and 200,000.
We also created the Iowa City Wind microsite to promote the Iowa City Wind Energy Supply Chain Campus.

I worked with Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, IA to create an online version of their magazine. We decided from the beginning that WordPress offered the best combination of flexibility and options. We purchased a premium magazine theme and then I set about customizing the heck out of it, creating a unique magazine website that meets Mount Mercy College’s specific needs.
